Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly helps make a significant difference in the lives of isolated and lonely elders in San Francisco. As state and federal budget cuts negatively impact important services to seniors, our programs are needed now more than ever.

 

Please donate to help give lonely elders the companionship they need.

Your generous donation can provide the following:

  • $35 provides a holiday party for one elder friend.
  • $50 provides a special home visit, gift, and meal for one elder friend.
  • $100 provides three elders with holiday gifts and greeting cards.
  • $250 sponsors home visits, gifts, and meals for five elder friends.
  • $2000 underwrites an entire social event for up to 60 elders.

Please note: We use a non-profit service to process our credit card transactions. Network for Good is the name that will appear on your credit card statement. Using a third party helps us keep our costs low and allows us to spend more time and money on our programs. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express.

Sign up for GoodSearch and GoodShop. For every search made through GoodSearch, a small amount of money will be donated to LBFE. For every purchase made through GoodShop, a percentage of the sale will be donated to LBFE. Please click here to download the GoodSearch and GoodShop toolbar. Planned Gifts

Making a bequest to Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly is a wonderful way to make a lasting contribution to the people and programs of LBFE while reducing estate taxes. We can provide you with simple language to include in your will in making a legacy gift to LBFE. We are also happy to talk with you about gifts of real estate, life insurance, and charitable gift annuities.  Contact us for more details.

 

Corporate/Matching Gift Programs

Many businesses and corporations match an employee’s monetary contribution. Others allow employees to designate gifts based on their voluntary involvement. Check with your Human Resources or Corporate Philanthropy department to see if your company has a matching gift program so you can double your contribution to LBFE.

 

Community Thrift Store

Bring your unwanted clothing, furniture, books, and more to the Community Thrift Store! For every item sold that you donate in LBFE’s name, Community Thrift Store will donate a percentage of the sale to LBFE.
